About this Site

Each Individual Learning Outcome (ILO) has the following information:

Expected Outcome - statement of what the outcome is.
Grade Level Continuum - a chart indicating which grades the ILO should be either introduced, emphasized or maintained. For more information on this see the section below.
Concept/Skills - provides the background information for the concept and/or skill being addressed
Integration Ideas - a list of possible ways to integrate the ILO into the curriculum.
TAL Resources - a list of resources provided by TAL. These resources are usually either online or come pre-installed on all school computers. For more information on locating TAL resources please refer to the Locating TAL Resources page.
Other Resources - a list of outside resources that could be used to meet the outcome.
Add a Lesson - a online form for teachers wishing to add a lesson they have designed to meet this outcome. To submit a lesson you need to be a member of this site and logged in. Membership will not be available until the Fall of 2007. Teachers can still submit lessons before then by contacting Cam Good @ TAL in the Department of Education.

The Grade level continuum charts indicate the recommended grades the ILO should be delivered at.
