Expected Outcome

Students will demonstrate the ability to access graphics and other media from a variety of sources, and will demonstrate how graphics and other media can be used enhance their message.

• media can be collected from a variety of sources (Clip Art collections, web sites, digital cameras, picture files, etc.)
• media selected should compliment the message (ie: spooky music for a Hallowe'en story)

• title pages using KidPix
• slideshows with audio effects using KidPix
• Appleworks has a large collection of clip art that could be used for a variety of projects
• both Kidspiration and Inspiration use graphical icons to help organize information
• both Appleworks and KidPix read back text entered
• adding sound effects and voice-overs in iMovie presentations
• adding a graphic, chart of flow-chart to a Class Writing Blog
