Mosquito Lake to Haines, Alaska

Thanks to Sam McPhetres of Haines High School. Sam came in on his day off to let us have access to the school's high speed Internet. Yeah Sam!
After having a 100 km day yesterday, 40km wasn’t bad at all. We stumbled upon a man named TJ and he told us all about how he and his people caught eulachon fish. He told us how they got the oil out of them and used the other parts of the fish. Awesome Alaskan hospitality.
Saw LOTS of eagles. On the down side, the group came within inches of being roadkill by some crazy guy in a pickup truck. We got over that and had a blast the rest of the day.
