I Still Remember
I remember you were my first crush. when I would try to make you laugh and even when it was not funny you would still laugh but were you laughing at me or with me I remember trying to make myself look nice so you would notice, but did you? Or did you just look through me? I remember our first date, when we saw that movie and you had your arm around me. Did you really love me our were you just trying to be cool. I remember that you did laugh at me I remember that you did just see through me I remember that you never really loved me and that you were just trying to be cool I remember that you were my first crush but I will always remember that you were the first one to break me heart.

Together
Racheal ad Leah were once the best of friends. Every afternoon after they both got home from their separate schools they wold hide in their secret meeting spot. They had built a tree house in the back of Leah's yard. It was decorated pink and green which were their favorite colors, with watermelon designs. * They were both fourteen years old and in grade nine. Leah went to Kennedy High and Racheal went to Coast Side. They met one summer day two years back, when Leah first moved to New York. They had been very good friends ever since. Racheal was very cute and smart she got good grades, the only fault was that she didn't have very many friends. She got teased all the time at school for reasons she didn't even know. In ninth grade the teasing turned into shoving and being pushed around. Through out the year the bullying got worse and worse, more bruises which led to more lies and excuses. The only one that understood Racheal and knew about the bullying, was Leah. Leah was very much like Racheal. She was cute and smart and got very good grades but the difference was that at her high school she had lots of friends. She was never bullied and when someone teased her, her friends were there to stick up for her. Leah was a very kind and loving girl. She cared about Racheal to much to see her beaten and bruised. No matter what Racheal could always confide in Leah. * One Friday afternoon after school was out Racheal was walking home with more bruises, with another story and another nightmare. She met Leah at the corner of William's and 104 St. which was Leah's bus stop. It was their regularly meeting spot after school. As Leah saw her bruised friend approach she stared in horror. She started to get mad at Racheal for letting them do that to her but then just gave up with tears streaming down her face. “You really need to tell your mother. I cant stand to see u like this one more time! I cant stand letting you lie to your mother again! You need to tell her. This will just keep getting worse and worse until you tell her! Please Racheal, please.” Leah cried feeling more pain than Racheal. Racheal just nodded avoiding the subject but knowing she would have to come clean and tell her mother sooner or later. By the time they reached their destination their eyes were red and soar full with tears. They hugged each other and bid farewell awaiting the phone conversation in a couple of hours after Racheal tells her mother. “So what did she say? What did you tell her? Was it the truth? How did she take it?” Leah asked with deep concern in her voice. “Well i just told her everything. How i never wanted to tell her because i was scared she would be disappointed because she thinks that I am more popular. I told her how it started. I told her everything. We both ended up sobbing and hugging each other by the time i was done. She seemed really sad and concerned but thankful that i told her.” Racheal told Leah still sounding a little shaky. “I am so proud you told her. Did you talk to her about changing schools and coming to my school?” “She told me that she will try to get me into your school after spring break, but until then I need to sort all of this out. She said im supposed to report to the principal about it but like that will happen! If they find out I ratted on them I would end up in the hospital before spring break.” “I doubt they would actually hurt you that badly. All they have done is push you around and things like that they never punched you. I don't think they will start now, they know that sooner or later they will get in trouble so they wont do that much harm. On the other hand they could actually really hurt you. I hope you make it through the next two weeks. I cant wait until you come to my school it will be so much fun!” “Yeah. It will be nice finally fitting in somewhere. Just thinking about it gives me butterflies, no m ore bullies or bruises. No more sitting alone at lunch. Everything will be normal again.” The next morning Racheal's mother drove her to school and talked her through what she should tell Mr. Finely, the principal. Racheal was very nervous not wanting to carry through with this plan her mother thought up. It was nerve racking just thinking about what her bullies might do to her. Thoughts of them beating her were almost unbearable although those haunting thoughts kept running through her mind she just kept the thought about being with Leah in Kennedy High those soothed her fears. As she was about to open the car door she bust into tears of fright. She begged her mother to not make her tell Mr. Finely. She had to many frightening thoughts that her courage could not conquer. Her mother gave a small smile and kissed Racheal on the forehead and told her everything will be all right and that she wouldn't have to talk to him today. Two weeks went by without Racheal saying anything to the principal and or seeing those students that bullied her. They didn't come by her locker and they didn't wait outside the bathroom for her. Racheal was very relieved and hoped that they had moved on and wouldn't bug her anymore. Even though all those thoughts excited her she still minimized them in fear she would get her hopes up just to get them destroyed. *The school bell rang dismissing all of the students. The hallways were packed with kids running and excited that it was spring break. As Racheal loaded all of her books and binders into her backpack she heard a load smack that made her look over. There on her right side was those kids. Racheal felt like bursting into tears but she held them in knowing if she did she would only get teased that much more. She grabbed her bags trying to avoid and shut out their rude comments. As she walked they would shove her back and forth like a human ping pong ball. All their actions just made Racheal pick her speed up focusing on the stair case up ahead leading down to the front doors which equaled her freedom. George, the tallest and also the biggest stood there by the stair case waiting for her to trip over his foot and tumble down. Before Racheal could take any action she felt a quick shove while heading face first down the stairs tripping over George’s foot. * Leah was waiting for Racheal for two hours at the bus stop hoping she was all right. After waiting that long she decided to walk home and see Racheal the next day. Next thing she knew she was gazing upon her best friends grave. The night janitors found Racheals lifeless body laying on the school floor and immediately called an ambulance. Little did they know, they were to late. So every week after that Leah went to Racheals grave to remember her and her bravery to try and stop bullying.

Beginning Of A War
“Wake up, it’s almost time to fight,” a voice said out of the dark room. Suddenly, the room was filled with blinding light, and Goore awoke, “How close are they?’’ he asked slowly. “Only an hour’s ride, but they are flying so about 20 minutes,” Forcent whispered. Forcent quickly got some rabbit meat for a breakfast and quickly prepared it while Goore made sure that their gear was ready. After they gobbled the soup down, their armor was put on and they ran to the plains. “Goore! Forcent!” a commanding voice said from behind them just as they entered into the formation of warriors, “For all you know the beasts could have already got here, and here you are, trying to sneak in past me!” he roared who they now discovered was the dwarf Utfar, the leader, “Ah well. Spear men in the front! Archers in the back, swordsman on the sides!” With everyone in formation, a few minutes were spent anxiously waiting, and watching the hill. Then a distant cry was heard. It was soon joined with many others. It was the cry of the Creets, filled with death, suffering, and pain. Over the hill came the dragon-like Creets, each carrying a ghoul. The Creets were actually giant six-legged salamanders, transformed and mutated into huge flying lizards with spines and acid spit. The ghouls were cloaked in long gray tattered robes, but huge claws could be seen where feet and hands should have been. * As they sped forward with alarming speed, the Creets suddenly stopped, and hovered in the air, just out of the range of the catapults. Then another cry was heard and Fooks came up over the hill. The Fooks were huge dogs, the size of elephants with thousands of quills with poison tips pointing out of their body. The Fooks ran straight towards the army, straight into the tunnels the dwarves built to collapse when just this thing happened. As the Fooks jumped onto the tunnels, they collapsed, but the Creets picked up almost every single one before they could hit the ground beneath.
* Then the catapults were launched with flaming boulders inside, all launched in perfect time. Forcent and the rest of the dwarves and all the humans were sure that almost every single one would be hit. But only a few boulders were not dodged as the monsters swerved out of the way of almost every attack. Before any more traps could be sprung , the Fooks were dropped right in front of the army. About half of the dogs were impaled by the spears, but the other half of the Fooks just jumped over their fellow warriors bodies into the army. They tore at the dwarves heads, and shot spikes into the elves and human’s heads. On jumped in front of Goore, who was quickly joined by Forcent and 10 other warriors who fought to kill it. The Fook’s tail got so close to Goore’s face as he fell back, that he felt the current of air as it went by his face. With a crack 3 men and 2 dwarves were broken in many places as the tail continued. When the Fook turned around to finish the men off, a tall human thrust a spear into the the head of the beast. With a growl of defeat, the Fook’s brains leaked out the hole from the spear. Before all the Fooks had died, about 1/3 of the humans, elves, and dwarves had died, and many were wounded. But it was not time for a rest yet. As the Creets dropped off their riders, they spat acid into the faces of many. Many fell to the ground in agony, and many more fell dead. Goore saw, as he launched arrows into Creets and ghouls, a figure slowly walk towards him as it stabbed its long serrated claws into the backs of the suffering. Then its claws got stuck as they lodged into a rock behind a dying man. Goore took this chance immediately and sprung forward. * The wind suddenly whipped back the ghouls hood, and a hideous face was revealed It was white, with a large mouth with many rows of bloodstained teeth. In many places burn marks stretched across its face, and although one hand was stuck, a fire of hatred and sadness seemed to come from the red bloodshot eyes. Before Goore could stare any longer, the sadness drained away and the beast reached for him with its claws. Just in time, Goore’s dagger flashed in front of the blow, but was blasted away. Goore raised his bow, but slowly lowered it as he gave pity for the struggling, and scared ghoul. Just as he put away his bow, it escaped from the rock and leaped for him. It pinned Goore to the ground and raised its head and uttered a cry of victory then prepared to maul him. Right before the teeth could sink into Goore’s chest, Forcent slammed his hammer into the ghoul’s head, splitting messily everywhere. “Thanks,” Goore quickly said before leaping back into battle. Almost immediately after Forcent killed the ghoul, Utfar commanded, “Fall back! There are too many, the last human has fallen!” As everyone retreated, the elves fired arrows at the army of death, piercing many Creets who fell into the ghouls. When the fort was reached, the arrows were dipped in poison and every single ghoul was pierced, but only a few died. The ghouls were strong, and only if the head was poisoned, or destroyed they would die. With bangs and crashes, the doors were attacked, and almost crushed. * “Goore, Forcent, Moncient, get ready with the oil over the door!” Utfar said in a wavering voice. Then a huge crash came from the door, and the ghouls poured in through the broken gates. Burning oil was dumped on their heads, killing almost all of them. The 20 ghouls left were shot at quickly before they could climb the ladder to the tower. When everyone looked to the skies, the Creets were gone. “They have gone to get the twelve kings of death!” someone said in a panicky tone. Then everyone panicked as well. Pikes were built to prevent them from landing with the Creets, and the gates were built stronger; cruder, but stronger. One week later, when all the preparations had been made, the kings came over the hill, with robes of white and gray, riding huge creatures with around 30 Crete circling behind. These creatures were later called Foxheets and had the head of a snake, the body of a lion, the tail of a scorpion, and the wings of a bat. When the Foxheets landed, they were impaled by the pikes and all died. * But when the sides of the fort crumbled away with the bodies of the Foxheets, the kings leaped from the backs of the monsters onto the fort. Each king took on 5 dwarves as the elves fired arrows at them. With many blows to the dwarves, and only a few to the kings, with none fatal. The problem was that the kings could deflect any attack, as long as it was at least 5 seconds from the last one. For five minutes, which seemed like hours to Goore, he fired arrows at one particular king. This king deflected every single hit and slowly killed off all but two of the dwarves he was fighting. Then he fired one more arrow, which was fired the second that Forcent swung his ax at the king’s head. With a low gurgle, the king fell down with the arrow still in his neck. The king’s power all come from one another, so with one king killed, their power diminished greatly. When the Creets saw what had happened, they swooped down and 9 were able to carry a king away without being shot down. As they rode away, one of the kings hissed and said to the remaining people, “We will be back! Next time with new creatures and beings stronger than us!” For thousands of years the dwarves and elves lived in peace, but they knew that someday, the king’s promise would be fulfilled...

He left her in the doorway. His disappearance destroyed her, It's his fault she's like this.
She sits silently in the bathroom. A thin line of red trails down her wrist, she closes her eyes, and continues.
She ignores her mother, banging on the door, pleading. She cuts deeper, smiling at the pain.
It feels good, makes her feel "special." A freak with a secret, Right?
Another drop of red follows the first, trailing down her wrist.
She gasps, and stops. She's done for today. But tomorrow it'll start again, For now, it's time for more excuses, more lies and more stories.
He left her in the doorway. His disappearance destroyed her, It's his fault she's like this...

Darkness
Here I am, dark as black My shadow is my only friend I walk alone; As I walk, dark shadows fall in step with me
I try to think of happy thoughts but I only suffer in vain
My heart is the only thing that’s beating the rest of me is just lying here
My insides are burning up like a fireplace inside me I’m suffering a slow and painful death inside my body
Not even my veins are pumping with blood my only wish is to live again

My Friend
I look at you run around. Your siblings sit there bored. That’s the one, I think to myself.
I pick you up, and you look at me with your big black eyes. We go to the counter, and now your’re mine.
I watch you scramble around in your red bag, ready to explore. As you go into your new home, a smile spreads across your face. You know this is home, and it always will be.
As I dump in your food, you scramble to eat it all. But one escapes up your wall, and it’s gone forever.
You grew like a family of rabbits, As long as a binder now. You seemed happy everyday, but that was not the way.
One day I went to pick you up, And found you lying still. It’s amazing how soon loved ones can leave, I still think you left too soon, and always will remember. I loved you then, I love you now, Spike.
