 PURPOSE:  To see if the astronauts are able to identify the different types of sounds.

HYPOTHESIS:
The astronauts thought they would do well.

MATERIALS:
12 plastic Easter eggs, small item such as rice, paper clips,  marbles, pennies etc.

PROCEDURE: 1)
shake the plastic eggs in order from 1-12
2) Have the astronaut guess what is in the easter egg.
3) Record your results
RESULTS:
The astronauts answers:
1) rice
2) small seeds
3) sand
4) large pebbles
5) coins
6) a single rock
7) small pebbles
8) small marbles
9) a medium pebble
10) dryed corn
11) bouncy ball
12) a single marble
The real answers:
1) Black peppercorns
2) rice
3) coffee
4) peanuts
5) pennies
6) dice
7) paper clips
8) lego
9)  circle  pieces
10) pins
11) eraser
12) marble
