Drama 8 Homework - Ms. McNally 2008/2009

The Drama 8 course is one term, and students attend every second day.  Drama students are expected to bring writing utensils, paper and a binder/folder to class.

The Drama Journal:
All students are required to have a folder or small binder in which they will organize their Drama Journals.  Drama Journals must be kept organized and up to date.  Sufficient time is given for Drama Journal assignments to be completed during class time.  Drama Journals remain in the classroom.  However, if a student is absent or is unable to complete a Drama Journal assignment in the given time, it is his/her responsibility to "catch-up" and hand in his/her journal to the Drama 8 basket.

Drama Homework:

  • Character development, scene creation, performance planning, line memorization and costume/prop preparation

Day 2: The Red Class

The Telephone Scene: Performance date = Tuesday, May 26th

Students will perform their monologues and duologues.  The "Marking Criteria" and "Drama Performances" sheets can help guide the students during preparation. Props and costumes are expected!

*A completed "The Telephone Assignment" sheet and scene plan must be submitted before the performance.

Day 1: The Blue Class

The Telephone Scene: Performance date = Wednesday, May 27th

Students will perform their monologues and duologues.  The "Marking Criteria" and "Drama Performances" sheets can help guide the students during preparation. Props and costumes are expected!

*A completed "The Telephone Assignment" sheet and scene plan must be submitted before the performance.
