Concluding Thoughts on the Mission Experience
I thought that this was an incredible experience and was enjoyed by all. It was very inspiring to see what actual astronauts had to go through and the experience was awesome.
Great mission, Ben
Wow!! This simulation that ended at 9:15 AM this morning was absolutely amazing!! It was extremely nuf as an astronaut and, Iím sure, as Mission Control as well. I canít believe how idenical it was to a real blast-off with real astronauts! Thanks SSSOOOOOOOOO much, Ms. Tillett!!!!!!!
I'm having a great time and am feeling reaaly good.Everyone is happy and we got a very warm welcome from mission control. They worked really hard and I just want to say THANKS!
As your fabulous mission draws to a close, I hope you will all look back on this experience with delight, awe and a great sense of accomplishment. I think it will be something you proudly share with your children and grandchildren some day. A very fitting way to celebrate man's first flight one hundred years ago.
It was really exciting at the lift off and landing but lots of the time I was bored and had nothing to do. Overall, it was O.K.
I think it was a really fun to have experince this amazine 24 hour simalation. I also like being ground control. It was really fun to learn about how to be ground control and do the work of being ground control.I also think it was fun to be a metereologist
I thought this simulation was quite like a real shuttle launch. I really liked the lift off and landing even though I didn't have a part. For next time, I wouldn't stay up 24 hours because you get really tired! I think the simulation rocked! Thanks Ms.Tllett!
Over all I found this a amazing experience!!!! Thats all I can say to
sum it up. Very exciting and and eventful!!!
I think that this was just an amazing experience. This is also a good way to prove that I can stay up pretty much all night!
We learned a lot about space and astronauts. Once again, I would like to thank Ms. Tillett for organizing this awesome event. I even got to hear myself on the radio! I think that Ms. Tillett should definately do this project again, with her next class, just to let them have the experience that we have.
I'm just so glad the crew abord the spaceship made it back in one piece but even though there were minor difficultys we worked together and fixed them.A job well done.Plus we had lots and lots of fun and hard work to do.OVER AND OUT.
I thought the whole space thing was a good idea! I learned alot during our space unit and it helped alot when we did it for real (in a way). When we were on the camp out and talked through the walkie-talkie it seemed like it was for real, but over all this would of never happend without Ms. Tillett
THANK YOU MS.TILLETT!!
It was the most wonderful experience I have ever had. Who can teach us all about space and make us have this great experience, who can handle so many jobs before making the shuttle , who can keep everything so orgaized when it was so busy and difficult, who can stay up 24 hours doing non stop work. Ms.Tillett she is the most wonderful teacher in the world for making this very big project come together. Thank you Ms. Tillett
!~!~!~!~!~!YOUR THE BEST!~!~!~!~!~!
Overall I think the mission went really very well. I think the landing could have been practiced more. I also think that we needed more time since the asronauts felt rushed doing all the experiments and were constantly wanting breaks which grew from ten minutes to an forty five minutes so that took away some time. I think the astronauts handled the mechanical difficulties very well and asked questions to clarify instructions. I think the main problem was that the astronauts felt rushed doing the experiments so we needed a lot more time. It was a great experience.
I think that by being part of a space simulation is the best way to learn because it is as close as possible to an actual shuttle mission as possible, by learning how an actual astronaut or mission control person feels when on the job is a really neat experience. I have learned so much this term, thank you everybody who helped, especially my teacher, Ms. Tillett.
I enjoyed our mission sooooooo much. I wish that it had been longer. I get to do it again. Staying up all night was really hard, you always were on the verge of falling asleep. I hope
I get to do it again sometime! Mission Control was so wonderful.Thank you sooooo much!
Ms.Tillett was wonderful at organizing it. So thank you to her to ! I had a great time it was busy, and tiring but still a lot of fun.
This was such a great experience! I learned a whole lot, especially with computers and technolegy. It was soooooooooooooo fun! Posting up all of the articles on the website and giving tours to visiters. I had 1 and a half hours of sleep and I am very ready to go home! I had an awesome time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was an AMAZING experience! I enjoyed it a lot, and will always remember this day. I am so pleased that I was able to be a part of this project! From Morgan
This 24 hour simulation was a great experience for me but we could have more practise. The experiments went well and communication went really well.I think this was the closest we could get to reality. It went well and everyone was AMAZING,especially Ms.Tillett!
During this project I had a great time learning about Space from a teacher who never gave up and put her heart into this supurb project. The whole idea was great. I had a amazing time doing it and almost always I had something to do. The thing I liked best was the way Ms. Tillett set it up and had it planned. I thank you for making my job eaiser. I thought it was a great experience and I will never forget what Ms. Tillett did for me in grade 6. Thank you so much for your hard work Ms. Tillett and Mr. Sen.
I thought the experence was amazing because it's not very offen you get to do anything like a space trip. By doing this most people have decided if they want to be astronaut or on Mission Control. It felt like the real thing, I sometimes thought the astronauts were far away. This was an amazing wonderful experence.
I don't think this experience could have been closer to NASA because our wonderful teacher, Mrs. Tillett, worked so hard to make it so realistic and so detailed. Even though it made me be so tired, it was worth to live a wonderful experience!
It is 9.15 right after the space mission and i have a few final thoughts about this unit. First I would like to thank Ms. Tillett for all the hard work she put into this unit and I think she did a great job. I donít have much to say but it was really fun to do and you did a excellent job.
