--Merilee Horesay 9/26/2011; 5:58:41 PM This project is worthwhile because there is a lot of math measuring new to me and a lot of concentration and learning using lots of neat tools.
I hope to gain new friendships and hope to build my own greenhouse someday and to accomplish more.
--Johnny Mackenzie 9/26/2011; 5:57:52 PM I feel this project is worthwhile because it gets me outside! Plain and simple, also another good thing about this proect is our end goal to attain fresh produce for the culinary arts program by the end of next semester. And its good fun working with others because we have such a wonderful crew. You Guys Rock!
I hope to gain from this project more experience and understanding on how to build foundations and structures for homes, cabins and greenhouses as well as our finished product a greenhouse.
--Priscilla Shorty 9/26/2011; 5:55:41 PM The Greenhouse builder project, is a great experience to learn, it helps you to learn about different things, with the right measurements, volume of a greenhouse, finding where the shadows from the trees hit the green house, and also learning about carpentry. Using neat and all kinds of power tools, and how to properly use it. My favourite to use it the compound miter saw.
One of my accomplishment, in 2 weeks was learning how to build skits so the greenhouse would sit on it, and learning how to level straight by doing a little surveying. My main accomplishment was getting my Standard First Aid CPR/AED certificate.
