One day when I got home there was a wedding invitation for my sister and Paul's wedding. (Ugh, I hate him) So I went to talk to my best friend Mike about what I should do.
He said “ Well, I think you should go because it is your sister's wedding, you don't have talk to Paul, and there will be other things to do.
I nodded and said "You're right ."
Mike said "My mom told me this superstition, do you want me to tell you it?"
"Okay." I answered.
Mike told me "My mom said if you put a piece of a wedding cake under your pillow, you will dream of the person you will get married to.”
"Ya sure, whatever” I muttered.
Mike said “Hey, why don’t you try it and we will see if it is true.”
“Okay, but I bet you it is not true because it is just a superstition. Parents say them because they don’t want you to put cake under your pillow and ruin it.” I said and left for home.

After the wedding when I got home I had to go to bed because it was late. I put the piece of cake under my pillow. I dreamed about Saul.
When I told Mike the next day, he said “So, it is true. Cool. That's what I thought.”
“Okay, so, if it is true, then I ruined my pillow just to find out that I’m going to get married to Saul.” I said sadly.

On Monday when I saw Saul at school, he looked different. He didn't look like the old mean Saul, he looked nice. When I asked Mike if it was just my imagination, he answered “No, he looks nice to me too. I just thought it was my imagination too!”

So in the end, I did end up getting married to Saul. (weird) I guess some superstitions are true.
