Our Marsville Day
When we first got to Marsville we went upstairs and took our coats or sweaters of and they gave us tee-shirts with our name on them. Then we went downstairs and Mr. Good and Mr. Markley were down there going to give us a presentation about mars.
Then we started our habitat. Then as soon as we knew it, it was lunch time.
At lunch we ate in our domes with our teams and put our garbage in boxes and they weighed our lunches. After lunch we went to see Julie Payette. She is a female Canadian Astronaut and she talked to us about how to go to the bathroom in space, what they eat in space and how important it is to know everything about their ship.
After we left from Julie Payettes presentation we went to see the presentation of the rovers that the schools that were participating in marsville built. The only rover that made it through the course was ours.
After that we went to the space suit fashion show. The most bizarre space suit was the first one we saw. It had an ice-cream bucket helmet with a pop bottle that was decorated with beads.
After that we had a tour of all the domes, cleaned up and went home.
