Isolation Exercise: Write a description of one element of a set – one book on a shelf of books, One bird on the telephone line. Write a lyric poem
“Simplicity” One flower in the bunch A daisy in a bouquet of clichéd roses Simple petals of white A center of sunshine yellow No sweet perfume for my breath But an earthiness. No poems grace my name No love sonnets I am the oracle of adoraion (He Loves me, he loves me not) In a field of crimson I am the odd woman out Pleased to be plain.

Fav lines: "No sweet perfume for my breath" "I am the oracle of adoration" (spelling error there, btw) My most favorite line (it creates a cool image and personality to the poem) is "I am the odd woman out / Pleased to be plain."
