Come into my cell. Make yourself at home. Hey, isn't it nice? Cold, empty and free. Well, besides you and me. Please, have some rat legs. They're sitting on the dish. Has uncle Joseph told you? We're winning to war. Once Lincon falls, a feastin' we'll go on beets and his beard. Been to the shows of late? Your favorite murder mystery. Who did it? I've got something to show you. My kidney ran out just today, haven't found him yet. Hidin' in the tire swing I guess. Oh yes, let me show you something. Come into my mind. Warm, full and trapped.

That is really interesting. I love how there is some dry humour in it. I can picture the conversation and the person speaking as well.

Just so you know, you posted two of these. I like the rat legs line.
Sets up the mood for the rest of the poem. My favourite line is "My
kidney ran out just today, / haven't found him yet." That created a
very humorous image in my mind.
