Crushed by a memory Devoured by a fantasy My finger trembles on the trigger Fighting for strength that doesn't exist The infatuation clouds a misty mind Can I have him once more? Climb out of the boundaries Break the rope of morals that keeps me secure Spontanious, delicious, wrong I can't turn away Not yet. Eyelids sliced by invisible tears Trapped in an unholy decision Anchored only by friendships Their love healing my pain Making it bearable to be Crushed by a memory Devoured by a fantasy On the verge of taking a chance Spontanious, delicious, yet brutally wrong.

Your first line was really power - it smacked me in the face like a brick and got my attention. ^^ Very powerful. My favorite lines: "My finger trembles on the trigger" "The infatuation clouds a misty mind" "Break the rope of morals that keeps me secure" Actually, I like a lot of the lines in the poem. "Anchored" - great image Oh, and "Eyelids sliced by invisible tears" - Loved that one. Great poem! I really enjoyed reading it.
