The Outsiders
The Outsiders is about the problems between the Socials and the Greasers groups. There are many problems in this book. It's like non-stop excitement. There is a lot of fighting between the “Socs” and the “Greasers”. It’s about friends and how they are always there for you when you don’t have anyone else.
Socs are the rich snobby kids who have madras shirts, short hair and nice vehicles. Greasers are poor people with long greasy hair and raggy clothes. I think S.E Hinton made this book about her high school life and how there were two separate groups and how they didn’t get along because of there different life styles. I like this book and I thought it was kind of sad when Johnny dies.
I think you would like this book too.
