Descriptive Paragraphs

Before I knew what was going on, I found myself on the floor in a cold cabin. I had a huge headache and a big lump on my head. It felt like a bull was raging around inside of my head. In addition to all of that, I had no idea where in the world I was. I had heard footsteps behind me but by the time I turned around it was too late. Next thing I knew after that, was I got knocked out cold again.

Within minutes I was conscious again. This time, inside of my head, there was a raging bull. There was a broken tennis racket right next to me. Even though I didn't know who's it was, I got some tape and taped it back together. Meanwhile, my attacker was hiding in the closet right across from me. He saw me looking around in his direction and jumped out to attack me again.

In the same way as the other times, I woke up with a painful headache. I was looking around for my attacker and I couldn't find him anywhere. I went around to the other side of the house to look for him but I tripped and hit my head on the door. This time I finally woke up without any pain. I realized it was just a horrible dream.

The Outsiders Commentary

The moral of this story was to prove to everyone that reads this book that life is tough and it’s not just something you breeze through. S.E. Hinton wanted to tell everyone that this can really happen and it's not all fiction. She wanted to get her message through to the young kids that need to learn the importance of life.
Hinton also wrote this book when she was a teenager and her parents had died when she was younger. She is trying to tell you that this can happen to you and that you shouldn’t take life for granted. I think this book is meant to bring people together. That’s what I think the moral of this book is supposed to be.
