Thanksgiving

   Thanksgiving Acrostic Poem



    Turkey dinner in the oven.

    Happiness.

    A faint wind blows ruffling the crisp leaves.

    Never ending feeling of having a full stomach.

    Kitchen utensils clinking in the background.

    Smells of food wafting through the kitchen.

    Gentle snow falling.

    Icicles falling off the sides of the roof crashing into small pieces below.

    Various bits of laughter throughout the day.

    Idle vehicles in their driveways waiting to be driven off into the snow.

    Nothing like the feel of Thanksgiving Day.

    Great feeling of warmth from the cold outside.

Wolfards Letter

Dear Little Red Riding Hood,

Many of your friends and you think that I just swallowed your little old granny whole, but that`s where you are wrong... What I actually did was boil her in a pot of hot water with a pinch of salt, two sticks of celery, one peeled and chopped onion, five chopped carrots and a dash of parsley. After I added the ingredients I left your granny to boil for 25 minutes and cleaned up. After she was done boiling, I cut her up into bite size pieces and had a delicious supper of granny stew, mashed mice and rabbit salad.
