My family are mathemathical Maniacs

My Family are Mathematical Maniacs

One Monday morning I woke up to find my mom telling me how much time I had to: brush my teeth, have breakfast, and catch the bus. Everybody in my family are smart except, me I don't get it, I think I was taken home by the wrong parents.

I’m off to school, it will be another miserable day for me because we have a test today and I didn’t even study for it.  After a long exhausting test I am  finally done, it wasn't my fault that I didn’t know 1.1 was the same as 1.10 well I flunked another one of those weird tests.  My brother  loves school, he thinks tests and quizzes are fun to do, he freaks me out sometimes.

Another miserable day for me because I: flunked a test, got sent to the office, did I mention I almost missed  my bus and I came to my parents fighting over math questions... what a great day!  I’m able to get to my room before they saw me, after a mathematical supper my parents asked me how school was. I told them I flunked a test, got sent to the office and I almost missed my bus; they told me that I was grounded once again.  Life never changes, I am always grounded; the only person that gets to go to his friends' house is my nerdy little brother.

Today my mom was not the same, she didn’t even tell us what we were going to do, she just got up and made coffee. I got up, got on the bus, and went to school. Today at school we had a quiz on math and wouldn’t you know it, I aced the quiz, everyone thought I cheated so I had to redo the test I aced. I guess my parents gave me smart powers or something. I told my parents that I aced the test and they gave me permission to go to my friends' house.  I like being smart. The next morning I got up to hear my parents shocked and yelling ”An A+”. They thought that they were reading the wrong report card they couldn’t believe it. I knew at that moment two years of grounding was finished. After school I waited for my nerdy little brother; he did not look happy when he got off the bus, I asked him what was wrong and he told me he failed an important test, I felt so bad because my parents were going to ground him big time. I thought of a great idea. I would tell my parents he failed because I was bugging him all night. They fell for it and we both got two weeks of grounding, he thanked me so much,  I said to him “you owe me big time” and he agreed.

The End

The Bobby Orr fanatic!

A LITTLE ABOUT BOBBY ORR

When my dad was growing up Bobby Orr was a great defenseman. He played for the  Boston Bruins, during his career he scored  The Stanley Cup winner against the St.Louis Blues. He was my favorite defenseman that ever lived. My dad said that one time he got in a fight with a veteran and the veteran said that it was the hardest fight he had ever been in and Bobby Orr almost won the fight. We have a picture of him holding The Stanley Cup and his arms were so big.  My favorite number is number 4 because I also play defense. I want to grow up to be like him because he was so good and he could skate so smoothly!
