Hello, my name is Moya, and I have a dog called Ben. He is a border collie. Ben is very gentle and very calm. He loves to chase snow, rain, waves, sparks, and swallows. He loves to run and play! Ben is scared of hamsters and cats! Border collies are very easy to train, so if you want a calm and gentle dog a border collie is a good dog to get! Border collies are bred to be farm dogs, like herding sheep and cattle, so they need lots of exersercise. Most border collies are about 35-40 pounds, so they are not very big. Border collies are usually black and white, but sometimes they are other colours like brown and white or eaven brown and black. Border collies usaly have quite long hair so they are good in the cold weather and the snow. You can also get short hair border collies who are not so good in the cold. Some border collies are quite crazy, but usually that is when they are mixed with another type of dog. If you live in an apartnent a border collie is not a good dog to get because they need lots of exercise and in an apartment they would not get very much exercise. If you have another dog a border collie is a good dog to get because they are very good with other dogs, and especially with people.
