Population:

Braeburn Lodge, famous for their very large cinnamon buns was upgraded to Official Yukon Quest Checkpoint status for the 1999 race. There is a mandatory 8 hour rest period for the mushers and dogs before they race to the finish of the toughest sled dog race in the world.
