Yukon Curriculum Outcomes

Participation in this project will help meet the following curriculum outcomes in the Yukon K-7 ICT Curriculum.

Foundations Strand

F1.1    demonstrate an understanding that technology is a tool
F1.3    demonstrate an understanding that information can be shared
            through a variety of media
F2.1    comply with the acceptable use policy of the school and school
            authority for Internet and networked services
F2.6    understand personal safety issues on the internet

Processes Strand

P5.1    communicate using technologies such as email, blogs and wikis

Communications Strand

C1.4    communicate in a persuasive and engaging manner through
            appropriate forms
C3.3    extend the scope of a project beyond classroom collaboration by
            using communication technologies
