Zenith Space Mission 2007
Welcome
The Shuttle has
has landed safely and our mission was a success. Thank you to all the
parent volunteers who help us throughout the day.
On Tuesday, April 3, 2007 this Grade 6 class will blast off into space!
This 12 hour space shuttle simulation is designed to give students an
idea of what it might be like to be part of a shuttle crew or the Mission
Control Team.
Students applied to join our
Space School and then examined our solar system, history of space
exploration, living and working in space and the scientific method
using critical thinking skills, creativity, co-operative learning and
experimental learning.
On April 3, our astronauts will lift-off into space to experience the
wonder of space exploration while
carrying out many of the functions most astronauts do. They will
exercise, conduct experiments, keep journals and much more while
Mission Control guides them.
By stimulating students'
imaginations, students not only become engaged, empowered and
energetic, they developed a quest for knowledge. By following the voyage
through our site, you will learn more about our experiences and the
wonders of space!
We invite public participation during
our mission. You must be a member of our site to use the Discuss link to post comments. Use the Join Now link to become a member. Please note that you must use a valid email account as your Username.
